What are your Easter dinner plans this year? It is such a strange time, with Covid-19 and social distancing, isn’t it? I know I will miss being with extended family (insert sad face). I thought it would be fun to share what we’re planning to make. I would love to hear what you are making as well!
We purchased half a pig for the meat a few months ago, so we will be having ham on the menu, per the norm.
Drinks: Sparking water with cranberry juice, Sprite for the kids, and Coffee
We love this Belle Vie Grapefruit brand from Aldi.
Appetizers: Cheese ball and gluten free crackers (I’m using this recipe that I made for Thanksgiving, just not in the shape of a pumpkin. It was THAT good!
Classic Deviled Eggs: I’m boiling the eggs right now.
Side Dishes: Garlic Knot Rolls from Aldi, Garlic Butter Roasted Carrots, Corn Casserole (we use this gluten free cornbread mix), and Twice Baked Potato Casserole.
Ham with this Brown Sugar Ham Glaze. I have never made ham glaze before, but this recipe looks pretty easy and yummy!
Desserts
I’m using these gluten free graham crackers brand – two boxes
We are making these with Strawberry Jam. You can pick your own favorite! I will be using these Aldi brand of gluten free yellow cake mix.
I hope you all have a blessed Easter! I would love to hear what you are making in the comments.
