Yes, I realize fudgiest is not a word. But this recipe is soooooo good, it deserves a made-up-word like fudgiest!
Whether I’m cooking or baking, if it is not easy and yummy, 9/10 I will not make it again. Well, this dessert is requested a lot in our home, (especially in the Summer).
The hardest part about this dessert is unwrapping the ice cream sandwiches. Seriously! So recruit your kids!

(Prep Time: 15 minutes/ Ready In: 15 minutes/ Servings: 12)
Ingredients:
19 ice cream sandwiches (be sure to buy extra if you get an off-brand)
1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (12 ounce) jar hot fudge ice cream topping (I use a 16 ounce jar)
Peanuts (optional)
Peanuts (optional)
Directions:
Arrange ice cream sandwiches along the bottom of a 9 x 13 ungreased pan.
Spread 1/2 the whipped topping over that.
Spoon fudge topping by teaspoonfuls onto whipped topping.
Sprinkle with 1/2 cup peanuts. (optional)
Repeat layers with remaining ice cream sandwiches, whipped topping and peanuts (pan will be full).
Serve immediately or freeze until ready to serve. (Take out of the freezer 20 minutes before serving). Cut into squares to serve.
