I stare at the blank page and it’s almost blinding, like the sun’s reflection on the sea of white outside my window. A blank page, to match a blank mind.
Write? I have nothing to say… and yet, the word to write about is write itself.
But this exercise of writing without thinking, just tapping out letters is good for the soul, and good for this community of writers. We write to inspire, if only our voice echos back and our heart nods, yes… that’s what I needed today. That was for, me.
Most days we fill pages to the brim and the junk overflows and nothing good seems to come from it.
But the world is watching, and eager to be pushed in the right direction. It’s not that your words are miraculous, but that your living for Him in obedience, that inspires others to action. It’s Him, all Him… for only God can change a heart.
So remember, even when you think you aren’t writing, you are … each day. Make your words count. May your little ones see your words, the story you are writing with your life, and praise the Father above.
Do the hidden work first, within your home, before you do anything public. The hidden words that you are writing, far outweigh any printed or spoken word to the public.
Oh the sweet hidden years, with our little ones… they are priceless.
So paint that blank canvas today… with bright colors that sing and dance like the sun shining on that blanket of snow.
For it is the Son that makes our day shine… thank you, Jesus, for your daily cup of grace.
