What is it about indulging? Do you ever find yourself saying, “oh I’ll just indulge a little bit, then I’ll get back on track.”
If you are like me, that rarely ever works. Think about it. What does the word INDULGE mean? See Below:

2a: to yield to the desire of
2b: to treat with excessive leniency, generosity, or consideration
Let’s talk about my biggest struggle: FOOD ADDICTION.
If you were to treat a food addict the same way you would an alcoholic or a person recovering from substance abuse, you’d never tell them it’s okay to have the following:
“free rein”, “take unrestrained pleasure in” “to yield to their desires” or to treat their addiction with “excessive leniency” would you?
So why is it so easy to do with food?
Well, we know why. We need food to live and it is everywhere! You aren’t looked down upon if you go to the store and fill up your shopping cart with whatever your little heart desires.
I really think there needs to be a treatment/rehab center for people will food addiction.
What do you think? Or maybe, better yet, we’d do better to completely immerse ourselves in the rehab center of GOD’S HOLY WORD!
