Ann Voskamp has the coolest printables! Here’s one I fell in love with for the new year. Get your copy over here.
EMBRACE – The Cross. Always more of the cross. The gospel. I need it every day.
ENGAGE – Conversation. I’m a people person, but I like my freedom and alone time. I can be afraid to engage in conversation. You know, beyond “how are you…” “I’m fine…”. Real, meaningful, life-investing conversation.
BE – Courageous. In every aspect of my life. I need courage… only with God holding my hand.
BELIEVE – I am capable. To reach my goals… however big or small they may seem. I can accomplish anything with Christ.
BREAK – Complacency. Isn’t this one of the devil’s best tools? No more… bye bye.
DAILY – Check ups. I need to give myself daily physical, emotional, and spiritual check ups. If not, a year goes by and you are 30 pounds heavier, burnt out, and missing the Lord’s whispers.
DO – Chores. Like do some housework. Anything. I hate to clean. The dust is winning…
LET GO – Of Checklists. I feel good when I can check stuff off. Lists are good, but sometimes you just have to crumple up that paper and throw it in the trash… and just live.
LEARN – To Deny Comfort. I love to be comfortable. There’s nothing like it! It’s a gift that the Lord has given us. I want to be able to willingly deny some of my comforts to bless someone else. Do you know what I mean? It might look like giving up the comfort of my own way, my own space, my own time. Turning over “my own” for “His will” in my life.
LIVE – Confidently. Sometimes we can second guess ourselves so much that we are frankly just driving ourselves mad! Walk in the Spirit and be confident with the decisions you and I make! Be brave.
GIVE – Challengingly. Take a risk! Be bold! I want to give wild and free in 2016 and watch God bless.
GROW – In Christ-Likeness. If I want nothing more for 2016, it is to be more like Christ. If I can reflect Him to others, it’s everything.
