I’m a beauty-chaser! I love to create, be inspired and I’m sure that’s where my passion for taking pictures comes from.
My biggest fear growing up was going blind. As a young girl, I hated the pitch-black because I couldn’t tell if I had actually lost my sight, or the lights simply were turned off.
As a young girl all grown up now, often times I walk through my days with my lights-turned off. On purpose. I forget to see the world around me. That each day is a gift. To wake up with a heart full of integrity, purpose, and hopeful expectation.
So I will choose to live each day with my eyes wide-open. When I forget to see the good in it all (for God has ordained my steps), the light goes out and I’m walking around like a blind girl I’ve always feared becoming. When I’m negative and grumpy, I’m walking in fear because I’m living out my worst fear.
I’m choosing to live each day with purpose. I will run around with my beauty jar and catch fireflies in the dark. With each one I chase and catch, my jar grows brighter and I illuminate the darkness.
So go out and chase beauty today! Your day will be as bright as you make it! Life is a lot more fun when I take time to enjoy it. It’s all about perspective. Will I choose to make this day great no matter what? There’s beauty all around us. Life’s too short to hold onto grudges and be miserable. Love others well today.
Be. A. Beauty. Chaser. Go illuminate the darkness!
