There are moments where the sun is hard to find and hope has all but vanished with the drooping horizon.
When the rain trials fall rapidly in copious buckets and it floods instantly. A relentless force, those trials are… but God is greater and higher and more powerful than my current trial.
And then grace rushes in and brightens the dark heart. Grace is a life raft for the torrential soul.
It binds the wounds that threaten to destroy.
It scoops up the emotions that seem uncontrollable to manage.
It FILLS that cloudy hourglass at time –sovereign – , by simply turning it over and starting afresh.
That’s what grace does… it never runs out, it never gives up, it always re-fills without fear of empty.
Thank you, Jesus, for the grace you give, that fills my weary heart.

I think I’ve used the word grace approximately five times in the last few days. I wholeheartedly agree with your post!
