Letters of love. Do you remember getting them? Words mean the most from the people we love. Ripping open a letter, with your name on it, with that little heart meant the world.
You probably ran to your bedroom, shut the door behind you, your smile lighting up the room.
You read those words, on that lined paper over and over, until the paper got wrinkly and the penmanship caused your fingertips to turn blue.
Words matter. Words send a message, and we are all messengers. What kind of message are you sending?
Are your words filled with kindness, vs. hatred?
Are your words filled with encouragement vs. tearing down?
Are your words filled with grace vs. judgement?
Start within your own home. Start where you are at today. That’s all God asks of us. To be obedient with the truth He’s given, with the greatest love letter, The Bible.
If you and I know Him as personal Savior, we are ambassadors for the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. That is a great and high calling.
But first, before we go down the street, or into our churches, or even onto the missions field, He ask us to live it out in the greatest of all battlefields: OUR HOME.
*Consider hopping over here and visiting my friend Angie. She makes some great things, especially for helping you journal pretty words and even make that Bible of yours extra special looking!
