I see you. Trying to swim against the current of resolution failure. So many people trash talking resolutions. I get it. But you are a fighter and you want to see your life mean something. Goals accomplished. Triumph. Victory.
But with victory requires a lot (eh hum, clears throat) a lot of defeat! How will you ever know the sweet taste of victory until you fall a few times and get back up, better for it.
Because we all will fail, but it doesn’t mean we don’t get up and try. Again. And again. And again.
Failure doesn’t make us weak but it strengthens and prepares us for the next victory.
I believe in YOU! I do! With God on your side, your victory is ensured. Let Him be your strength and motivation. Self will power will only last so long. It’s fleeting and its time is always limited. Oh, but the power and strength of our Savior, Jesus? His power is limitless. His love knows no boundaries. He, my friend, is the one that can help you make the changes you seek.
So, with your goals, or resolutions, or word of the year, won’t you find a little grace for yourself along the journey? When you fail, don’t let it push you further into defeat, but be the catalyst that makes you push even harder… until one day, you wake up, and you’ve arrived victorious. You can do it!
Ephesians 3:16-21
20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

So true, It is in the failures that we truly see victory because only when we fail do we remember to lean on him
Such a good reminder. Thanks for encouraging those of us all-too quick to feel defeated, especially this time of year. 🙂 Glad we’re FMF neighbors this week.
AMEN!
Thanks for sharing this wonderfully encouraging reminder. That passage in Eph. is one of my all time favorites, and it always blesses me deeply to read it. Thanks for all you do! XO
