Day 4: Simple Ways To Be A Good Friend

Being a good friend . . . takes reaching out.  It takes real-living.  It takes being a good listener.  It requires being an active forgiver.  

As women, we’ve been created with the deep need to be accepted and loved.  We are also very emotional beings.  Sometimes feelings get hurt and our insecurities rise and conquer.

Here are some quotes I found online and some bible verses about what God thinks about being a good friend:

Luke 6:31 “31 And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.”
Romans 12:10 “10 Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.”
Ephesians 4:29-32 “29 Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day ofredemption. 31 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. 32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”
