I use to think bravery was only for the person going off to war overseas. I think of movies like Pearl Harbor that tug at our heart strings and motivate us to be better. Laying all down on the line for the sake of another.
But that is what I do everyday as a Mama… that is what you do, sweet Mom!
Each day is a battle in and of itself. To fight the selfishness to stay under covers, under masks, and under my own will and way. It’s laying down my life for the sake of these little souls, right here and right now.
You are investing into future generations, raising up these little ones. The mundane tasks get old fast, but woven into the mundane is real life and love poured out.
Keep investing…
Keep seeking the Kingdom of God first…
Keep laying down your selfishness for the greater good…
Keep being real in front of your children…
Keep bending down on knee and speaking gently into little eyes…
Keep reading them stories and engaging in playfulness…
Keep loving them right where they are at…
Keep on keeping on…
This is true bravery! You go to the front lines of the battlefield each and every day, and I’m so proud of you!
