I use to be afraid of so much.
Like I had control over my life.
Circumstances dictated my responses.
Fear of letting people down imprisoned me.
Afraid to let my guard down and be real plagued me.
Being the picture perfect Mommy haunted me.
The unknown terrified me.
I was a slave to perfectionism and control.
I have even been guilty of defining my Christianity by a set of rules and checklists.
My Savior, Jesus, gave me freedom over fear.
I can now walk, hand in hand with Him.
I’ve found safety in my Savior’s gentle touch.
I’ve let go of the death-grip called fear.
My confidence is in Him.
I wish I could shout from the rooftops, the freedom found in Christ!
To the unsaved, and saved alike.
So many believers, who love Jesus, are still walking with chain-ridden hearts.
Let Him cut the chains today.
Walk in total freedom today?
2 Timothy 1:7 “ For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

I just needed to hear this in a big way. I, too, have been delivered from fear but am now facing a yawning chasm of the unknown and am being tempted to be drawn back into that place of fear. I know my God is in control and that I can rest completely and totally in His hands. thanks for the reminder and would appreciate your prayers that I will be bold and strong in the face of temptation to fear and remember that I overcome by ‘the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony.’ Appreciate the word, thank you!
Praying with you Melissa! The enemy with forever tempt you to retreat. Remember, retreating will bring bondage and fear… rest in Him! <3
Traci- I love your message…it is so true that even Christian women are living in fear rather than peace…I love the verse…It was for freedom that Christ set us free, do not let your selves become burdened again by a yoke of slavery…Galatians 5:1…we need to pray for each other because our spiritual enemy is always looking for ways to convince us to give up our freedom! Thanks for posting today…
Shout it, sister!! Great stuff here Traci. Thanks for boldly proclaiming the truth here for us all.
Wow, I absolutely love this quote, not because I love the truth of it, but because I relate: “Circumstances dictated my responses.”

Great job. I love your enthusiasm. It’s very encouraging. You go girl!
Shout it out! I love this. Too many are still walking round in fear when our freedom has already been purchased.
I am so thankful for you, friend! I love how you are stepping into authenticity- it is beautiful and Jesus shines through you! One of my favorite stories in scripture is Enoch walking with God. I was reminded of that as I read your words. Thank you!!
