There is an awesome freedom I’ve discovered in Christ. I am a child of the King of Kings and He thinks I’m beautifully and wonderfully made. He knows me, inside and out. He formed me, woven and spun, each detail… on purpose. My confidence is in Him and I can live unashamed because He’s my Savior.
How do I reflect Him? It’s all about making Him known. He must increase, and I must decrease. That’s the key to reflecting His beauty.
So walk in that freedom. Draw close to your Savior. Love Jesus more than you love father, mother, husband or child. Intimacy with the Father will bring you the contentment and joy your heart is longing for. Don’t be so concerned about pleasing man and meeting all of life’s demands and expectations with perfection. Perfectionism is the kill-joy of beauty. Just walk hand in hand with your Savior, and seek to please and reflect His name. You are beautiful, dear sister!
Psalm 42: 1-2
“As a deer pants for flowing streams,
so pants my soul for you, O God.
2 My soul thirsts for God,
for the living God.”

Right! I just recently realized where a lot of my anxiety and control issues with food and life come from! Perfectionism! Uggg…. but it’s so freeing to lay that down on the alter and walk in the freedom He grants through Christ!
