I sit down, heart full, beckoning me to write. I see an image and it stirs and unsettles the heart. I recall emotions and burdens and conversations and cares and regrets and triumphs and failures, and sometimes all I can do to release it all is write.
Writing can awaken what you don’t even know is within your heart. Have you ever tried it? Go grab a pad of paper or your computer if you prefer typing (like me) because you’re left handed and your writing is horrible and your hand drags behind the pen and marks up your hand like a bruise. But just write… you may be surprised at what you find at the end of those fingertips. Even more? You may be surprised at the freedom it brings you.
Thanks for visiting!

Are you really left-handed? I am too! 🙂 Writing is definitely therapeutic! I could afford to do that right now!

This is so true. I often write my best when I just put the pen to the paper and go at it. Scribbles and all. Thanks for sharing, I’m new to your blog and I’ve definitely been enjoying myself. Have a great week!

I am going to try that very thing. I need to journal the past few days; but I want to just write what I want to write and not what I should be writing. Probably doesn’t make sence. I liked your idea and blessings to you!
