I sit on leather with feet propped on wooden table. Coffee in hand, I sip slow and steady. My socks cotton white. The heat billows out the floor register next to me and sends warmth throughout.
Still, I find time to complain.
My kids have food on the table, clothes upon their back, and gifts to rip open on Christmas day.
Still, they find time to complain.
We live in a country, that has clean running water and faucets that spill forth freedom upon freedom,
yet we find time to complain.
Take a look at this picture and lock it into your brain. I have. The next time you find your heart saying, “I need _____________”, think of this picture:
Why not find time, this Christmas, to ask the Lord Jesus, the One that Christmas is all about, what you can do to help one of these little ones in need. You and I can’t do everything, but we can do something.
Ask the Lord, and He will show you… but first, ask Him for His heartbeat… His heartbeat, cares for the least of these.
The Lord showed me today, that I can pray for these little ones. That I can, with faith, ask the Lord to give a child a hug today and overwhelm a child with His love.
Will you find time to do the same? Imagine how many children will receive a hug from the Lord today!

Thank you, Traci, for sharing this. The picture should be a wide eye-opening reminder that even on our worst days, most of us are still so, so, so blessed. How can we dare complain when there are people in the world without a roof over their heads, without food in their bellies? Thank you for reminding us to be ever grateful.
