If you’ve read my blog for any amount of time, you know that I love the Word of God! As a busy Mom, I don’t always have the time to open His Word “as much” as I’d like.
The next best thing to opening God’s Word, is having it hanging on my walls! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this 12×12 piece of art I got from Red Letter Words:
I have it hanging in my bathroom! What a wonderful reminder to stop and thank God! It is so well made and I adore having scripture in my home. The Word of God is quick and powerful- Hebrews 4:12!
Win yourself a 12×12 Cafe Mount print for your home! Have you heard of polyvore.com? It is a fun website where you can create outfits, decorate rooms, and more! Here’s my clean and inviting room below! Doesn’t the 3 Red Letter Words art look great together!

Ohh my favorite scripture lately is … Jeremiah 29:11, I feel is speaks volumes to me right now: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.
Just because we are doing something doesn’t mean it’s in HIS plans… A big thing to ponder on!
Lara says
My favorite passage is Hebrews 4:14-15:
14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven,[a] Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.
Lara says
And my favorite way to memorize scripture is to put it on cards and leave it in places where I will frequently see it.

My favorite way to memorize Scripture is to write the verses down in a little notebook that fits into my purse. Then, when I am standing in line or waiting somewhere, I can flip through and practice!

I love the Hannah’s Prayer one. It was “my verse” during my pregnancy with my sweet son!

My favorite way to memorize scripture is to keep a box of index cards in my car, each with a scripture on them. I commute a lot, and this allows me to make my in-car time more than simply a commute. Depending on what God is teaching me at the moment and what promises I need to hold onto, I have an appropriate verse on my dash.
The McDonalds says
My favorite verse of the Bible is Psalm 18:25 – to the faithful, you show yourself faithful.
He is always faithful, ladies!

I can;t say I have a favorite verse, but I have been diggin’ 2 peter 1:3-7 for a while now:
3 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7 and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. 8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

My favorite passage is Philippians 2:1-11…especially verses 9-11:
“Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
