On November 1st, I signed up for the 21 day sugar smackdown. It is a 21 day sugar detox to bust those sugar and carbohydrate cravings! Yes, right smack dab in “candy-falling-from-the-sky season! Call me crazy, lol.
I am now on DAY 12 and have not cheated at all! Can I tell you how awesome I feel! Cutting out all sugar and refined sugar is the best gift I can give my body and my family! Why do I say my family? Because I’m much happier, less angry, much more “even keel”!
Why? Because cutting out that nasty enemy has evened out my blood sugar! Last week I posted about the results of WEEK 1. I mentioned that I had lost 9 lbs last week! This week, I think my body was evening out, but I did lose another pound! That is 10 pounds in 2 weeks!
Here are some things I ate this week. I also ran 3 miles one night, and have been doing Jillian Michael’s 30 day shred, which I LOVE LOVE LOVE! If you want to Burn Fat Fast: This online program will help you burn fat faster!
Well, you know… I love it when I’m done and I see my body getting toned and fit! I don’t LOVE it during the workout, lol. But it is only 20 minutes and so doable for most anyone!
Salmon with mayo and onions, broccoli and cheese.
Feta and broccoli/mushrooms/shallots Omelet.
Turkey burgers with cheddar cheese and grilled asparagus.
Spinach bread with Hummus.
Grilled cheese spinach bread.

Thank you! And congratulations! I know how hard it can be to lose weight! It is even more difficult with those of us with health challenges that hinder what we can do physically, but I have been slowly putting a program together that will work for me!(I’ve got 70 pounds to lose!)
Have a blessed weekend!

Great job! I know that it’s not easy to cut sugar out of your diet, but it’s so much better for your body. I have really noticed how much sugar affects my mood…not good. Thanks for posting your experience, it is inspiring.
