Take A Deep Breath
To slow the rapid pace, but for a moment. A fast-paced mind, is not ideal breeding ground for fruit. It is more a cluttered mess of thorns and thistle. Weeping echos forth, beckoning long and deep within; the chest is sunken and the shoulders throb.
Oh the longing, just for a bite where the crunch is heard and the juice pours out, down the cheek. The fruit of The Vine.
To be nourished, instead of fighting just to survive. So slow down, oh weary soul; be still. Abide in Him, lest you wither and die.
Pay careful attention. Look for Him; not in experience, but in The Truth, that comes from His complete Word. But oh, how we still see Him, around us! We experience Him when we’ve first met with Him, face to Living Word.
The firmament. It speaks, daily. It declares His glory. Mountains tremble. Rocks cry out. As the thunder roars and lightning strikes, we feel His mighty power.
In the beauty of tangible touch. In little arms that wrap around our grown-up leg. The details of life are there, if we will but notice them. Love simplicity.
Remove your busy heart, from the busy life. It will destroy. Pay careful attention to the life that is around you, instead of the things.
Store up treasure in heaven where moth and rust cannot steal the joy.
Listen To His Word
Bathe in the Red-lettered truth. Linger long. Meditate and let it penetrate the darkness. The hardness. The sinfulness.
Those thick vines, the ones that cloud the mind, the heart, the upward view of the heavenly, will begin to be cut down.
The SON will peak through. A glimpse of His glory can now be seen. Refreshment will come.
Do you long for some refreshment today? Listen to God. Slow your pace. Look around and pay attention. Bathe in His Word. It’s time for the HARVEST!
Thanks for visiting!

Beautiful, Traci! I love this: “Look for Him; not in experience, but in The Truth, that comes from His complete Word. But oh, how we still see Him, around us! We experience Him when we’ve first met with Him, face to Living Word.”
