Apple picking is one of my very favorite autumn adventures! Sadly, we won’t be going for another couple of weeks.
I thought I’d be a step ahead of the game this year, and found some yummy recipes to prepare for and share with you.
Here are some that looked good to me:
I actually do not like… are you ready for it… apple pie! I know, what kind of American am I? But Apple Crisp… now your talking my language! This recipe looked great because it had graham crackers in it!
I love the combination of Pork and apples! Sounds scrumptious!
Doesn’t that sound great! I’ve never heard of an apple pie dip before.
I hope you found some yummy recipes that caught your eye! Which one looked the best? Have you gone apple picking yet? Linking up over at Beauty and Bedlam.
Thanks for visiting!
Traci! I don’t like apple pie either! My daughter loves it and when she asks me to make one I think, yuck! But it’s good for the calories because I am not tempted.
Oh dear! Fresh apples are so delicious I can’t see the point of coating them eith nuts, peanut butter, chocolate etc.
That’s where American taste buds and mine go different ways. But I’m with you on apple crisp rather than pastry. Yummm!
Mmm… sounds yummy! I miss apple orchards!
These look so good!! I went apple picking with my grandson on Saturday so I have plenty of apples. I know what I will be doing next weekend! Thanks very much!
Wow, the chocolate covered apples look delish! We will probably go apple picking in a couple of weeks. Pork chops and apples are really good too. And of course applesauce. Thinking of making some with potato pancakes tonight.
Great post! Thanks for the ideas/recipes. I don’t know if you saw it, but I went apple picking with my students on Friday and I needed something new to make with my apples! Blessings!
Fun! ALL those recipes look awesome. I have some printing to do. The pork with apple stuffing, and butternut soup will be first on my list to try. And like you, I’ll take apple crisp over pie anyday!
OMG, that apple pie dip recipe looks amazing!!! Thanks for sharing these…
Beautiful post. Those recipe photos are making me want some apples 🙂
Hey, I like the new look on the blog. Great!
Oh, my! These look sooooo good! Love apples and recipes using them! I made an apple crisp with my daughter last night.. 🙂
YUM! I wish we could go, but it would be a long and expensive trip from Guam! (Are they still in season in Nov? We may be going home for a visit then- to WA no less!! The apple state!!)
My husband has actually made a delicious Apple & Butternut Squash soup (recipe from Pampered Chef) and it was SOOOOOOOO YUMMY!!! We may need to do that again soon now that you remind me of it!!
How fun! I love your header. It is so adorable!!
We just went to an orchard last weekend so your timing with this post was perfect! I think the coffee cake, apple dip and pork with apple stuffing look delish! I have made an apple tart in the past, but no pie for me either!
MMMM love the pork chop and apple stuffing recipe. YUM… I already picked 10 pounds of Gala’s and since they are almost gone, time to hit the orchard for whatever is currently ripe. :o)
Oh how I love your beautiful pictures and wonderful recipes too! I have lots of squash and apples, so the first one I will be trying is the squash/apple soup. Sounds so yummy! Am making the apple dip too – how I love fall recipes. Thanks for your EXTRAordinary inspirations!
