John Fletcher, eighteenth-century theologian, was said to have stained the walls of his chamber with the breath of his prayers lifted up.
If the breath of your prayers, could be numbered; would they stain your walls?
WOW! Your thoughts?

Thanks for visiting!
What a profound statement! Love it! You asked a while back what editing program I use….. I use photoshop CS4. I’m sorry I’m just now answering, I have a horrible memory. 🙁
Oh, I hope so. What a wonderful image. Thank you for finding this. It is really profound.
Very sobering! My mind went to the stains that are on my bedroom door just under the door knob where little hands have been. The stains there remind me that mommy and daddy’s room is their refuge. God is my refuge. Will He find my “hand prints”/stains on the throne?
Thank you for this!
wow. such a stunning thought, that someone’s walls could be stained from their prayers – what an amazing way to be remembered!!
this has given me *so* much to think about!!!
Wow! That is incredible! A lot to chew on too! I can just imagine the fervency of those prayers!
wow. my thoughts are “I don’t even know how close to stained walls I would come…..”
Wow. What a beautiful image and the words. Yes I believe the walls are and as is my ceiling. Makes me wonder that if we pray all kinds of prayers. Then what would it look like. I brought up the ceiling to because at night laying in bed, I am often thinking and praying before for I sleep.
All I can think is that this made me think about some things:)
I love the imagery that invokes. I like to think that my walls are stained already. I’m certain that my car windows are. {smile} Thanks for provoking thought today. Blessings.
Very cool picture to go with some very good food for thought…
Breathtaking….
I love the words that encourage such deep thinking 🙂
